PA to Managing Director & Office Manager/ Marketing Manager


Concept BSP provides Supply Chain Outsourcing services to small and start up companies in the retail supply industry. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Concept BSP, my role years was to build the business from a start up company itself, through to its current position where it boasts a strong portfolio of satisfied clients.

I also acted as PA to the MD and Office Manager throughout my time at Concept BSP.

In my role as PA and Office Manager, my tasks included;

- Writing correspondence and dealing with emails and letters addressed to the MD.
- Writing and designing PowerPoint presentations.
- Diary Management.
- Making travel arrangements and booking hotels.
- Organising corporate events, inclusive of catering arrangements
- Sitting in on Management Accounts meetings and taking minutes
- Setting up sales meetings for sister companies to Concept BSP

- Advising and working closely with the MD for the greater good of the companies.

Within my role as Marketing Manager, my main achievements were;

- Increasing new business, writing up proposals, quotations, and Terms & Agreements.

- Organising a stand at a trade fair and being part of the team on the stand.
- Building an Access database and using it as a sales database.

Working within a department that produced one monthly publication and five annual industry directories, I undertook a range of tasks from day to day administration through to telesales. I started initially as the Advertising Assistant, and was promoted to Assistant Manager after 18 months. I was responsible for;

Delidownunder is my first LTVSS client, for whom I perform a number of sales, marketing and customer management functions. The MD of the company is primarily based in his home county, with visits to the UK when required.

My role has been to build (and then maintain) new marketing/ sales databases (Access) and then via telesales, mailings and web enquiries, generate new business for the company. I am also the main point of contact for existing customers, and once a month, contact these customers for feedback and to promote further sales.
