• Influencing leaders of FTSE 100 companies to work in partnership with police leaders to develop collaborative solutions to enhance policing services to businesses in London

• Conducting an extensive consultation project on business crime, presenting the findings to police Commissioners and working closely with senior officers in the MPS to bring about a real step change in how police work and communicate with business

• Reviewing job descriptions and streamlining the employee performance appraisal process
• Reviewing and standardising employment contracts following the acquisition of a new company

CSV is one of the UK’s leading charities. In this role, I was responsible for establishing and managing a national project to implement change programmes in public libraries across England. Key achievements included:
• Managing the recruitment and training process for all project staff in 8 locations in partnership with local authorities
• Facilitating change management processes within partner organisations and training library staff to manage community engagement projects
• Developing a HR system (Oracle) to manage information across all project locations
• Analysing HR data to demonstrate project impact, monitor diversity information and produce quarterly monitoring reports to stakeholders and funders
• Forecast and managed the £1 million budget, ensuring the project’s extension by maintaining control on expenditure

Following the merger of three emergency service agencies, I was responsible for developing a new organisational structure to provide HR support to over 25,000 personnel in 600 individual organisations. Achievements included:
• Leading the establishment of HR functions in 6 regions, on time and within budget, including recruiting and training regional staff
• Liaising with unions and other stakeholders to identify key deliverables
• Establishing and managing HR programmes, including recruitment, employee relations, equality & diversity, learning & development and employee engagement
• Coordinating recruitment strategies to address declining personnel numbers, developing recruitment resources for individual organisations and providing bespoke recruitment advice
• Administration of the Oracle HR database with, managing regional administrators, developing system documentation and training staff and management analysis and reporting
