| Chris gained her extensive training experience through a variety of training and development roles held in the public and private sectors. She is a member of the CIPD and British Institute of Learning & Development. Chris has just qualified for her Diploma in Learning Facilitation Skills with the Training Foundation. Professional Experience Chris began her working career with Freeman Hardy Willis as a cashier/auditor before moving to a position of Public Relations Officer with the Salvation Army. After this she started her financial services career with Refuge Assurance. Here she undertook several roles from middle management to Regional Training Manager. She had sole responsibility for all staff training within her region (approx. 350 people) related to sales and management development. Working for both public and private sectors Chris has covered training needs analysis, course design, course delivery, coaching and mentoring and assessing. Training Approach & Style Chris is a staunch believer in people “learning by doing”. She enjoys facilitating as an integral part of her delivery style. She encourages course participants to explore their potential through discussion and other activities or exercises as appropriate to the session. She believes in challenging individual paradigms, and also encourages individuals to think beyond their usual boundaries.
