| I have been self employed now for 10 months and have taken on a variety of projects. These include: Data cleansing, database building (MS Access) Book Keeping, Secretarial duties as Holiday relief. I am now in the process of arranging networking events for new businesses, this includes preparing and distributing the flyers to encourage attendance . I am keen to develop my skills and as such I am studying formal book keeping exams which I hope to complete by the end of May. |

Duties include: Setting up and maintaining all office procedures initially to achieve ISO9000:2001 accreditation for a small subcontracting Supply and Fix joinery company. My role now involves running the office completely single handed, from opening the post to paying the wages and company accounts (using Sage), maintaining all invoice and purchasing procedures, marketing, secretarial duties for 2 Directors/Owners of the company, and helping to maintain records for their subsidiary company which owns and rents domestic property. All administration tasks are my responsibility including petty cash and ordering stationery within a budget.

My role involved all aspects of marketing: including production of leaflets, brochures, posters and advertisements for the many varying projects carried out by the LSC. I worked closely with PR Coordinator or PR Agency to produce press releases, case studies and professional letter writing to Government officials. Event management was a major part of the role and I have worked with an event management agency for a major event involving the Secretary of State for Education, but in the main have taken on full event management duties for many major events and promotions, working with stand building companies, photographers, design agencies, theatre companies, printers and partner organisations to deliver successful events, literature and promotional campaigns
