Employed to supervise small team of electricians carrying out extension of control systems to carry out extra filtration on plant. Liased with client (HMB). All installation tested to clients satisfaction and documents and drawings updated accordingly.

E&C Commissioning Engineer. BBC Mailbox Project Birmingham.
Pre commissioning and commissioning of all HVAC system throughout BBC studios. Plant included air handling units, fan coil units, dx units, temp elements, diff pressure elements, Honeywell invertors, temp/humidity sensors and condensation sensors. All equipment monitored via Honeywell plc software, LON network and network modules.

Employed to inspect and commission all aspects of electrical and instrumentation equipment throughout TLP. Main duties involved commissioning caterpillar diesel generators and hot loop tests using Delta V, SIS, ESD and PCS via DCS and TRICONEX stations. Assisted by vendors (EMERSON) and (CATERPILLAR) to carry out tests. Tests carried out using Hart communicator , loop calibrator, decade box and nitrogen set. Also commissioned all fire and gas systems on standby, temporary and emergency generators. All testing was completed via caterpillar fire and gas control cubicles.

Employed as part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for the commissioning of numerous control systems, primarily associated with radiological shield door equipment. Responsibilities included: input/output testing of system control software, instrument loop acceptance tests, sequence interlock device demonstrations, proving of safety related interlocks, initiating design modifications, completion of commissioning documentation and upkeep of as-built drawings. Assisted in the commissioning of multi-channel monitoring CCTV system including REES through wall camera systems, radiation tolerant in cell cameras and microprocessor controlled telemetry systems. Additionally, commissioned intruder detection system, fire alarms, seismic trip system, in-cell/out-cell lighting including signals to and from the DCS. Modicon PLC networks, I/O and software fault finding/testing & working through ladder logic. Responsible for sequence interlock device demonstrations, proving of castell key safety interlocks, initiating design modifications, raising fault observations, completion of commissioning documentation, upkeep of as built drawings and production of lifetime quality record handover packages.

Employed as part of a commissioning team responsible for the testing of an automated baggage handling system, which comprised of mini shipment equipment operating in conjunction with an automated parcel sorter, commissioning of automated elevator/lowerator hoists and associated conveyor systems including automatically operated transfer vehicles. The control system consisted of SIEMENS Step 5 programming package V6.6 and V7.0, utilising S5 115 CPUET 200 remote I/O and L2 COMM LINK hardware. Fully conversant with transferring program files and data files to PLC, I/O checking using force variables page to monitor inputs and force outputs. System proving trials, performing plant movements by transferring Data blocks with movement telegrams and fault finding using block status screens to monitor active logic strings.
