CV

I am experienced, motivated and enthusiastic.

I have been freelancing/contracting for 16 months. This has allowed me to get back to hands on architecting and coding, as well as providing consultancy for my clients on development and delivery plans.

Prior to going freelance I was a development team leader and Assistant Development Manager at Orange.

Responsibilities included: defining/refining process (development methodologies, testing, standards compliance, etc), administering operational process (implementing Software Configuration Management), managing both technical and non-technical team undertakings, mentoring, ‘Client’ interaction, infrastructure requirements, solution architecture, development project planning, resource management, version controlling/configuration management/change management, product delivery and support, ensuring the quality and standard of the work produced and identifying suitable solutions to problems of both a technical and non-technical nature.

I have experience in many server side scripting technologies and find learning new languages, frameworks and techniques interesting and fairly straightforward.
