Career Highlights:Ĝ PwC approached Common Purpose to develop a leadership programme to prepare their organisation for global change in the 21st century. Selected as Lead Consultant to design & deliver the programme. Engaged with PwC’s Head of L&D; assessed complex organisational requirements globally; assisted in generating internal sponsorship; designed environment-led experiential learning programme; and delivered the 8 week programme to 16 PwC Partners. 78% of participants subsequently improved performance & expanded their scope of responsibility & the programme won a PwC Development Event of the Year Award.Ĝ Common Purpose had a 5 day residential leadership programme for senior executives who have a national or international profile. Selected to perform a review and re-design of the course. Developed a network of high profile leaders to contribute to the programme; devised innovative group activities; and re-designed course content based on advanced experiential learning methodologies. Developed a course to prepare leaders to meet the challenges of global markets in the 21st century and succeeded in doubling revenue within 6 months.Ĝ KPMG had a bottleneck of ‘Partner track’ candidates who had strong technical skills but limited leadership experience. Engaged to design & deliver a programme to develop leadership capabilities & self awareness through ‘out of box’ experiences & self reflection. Engaged with client; assessed requirements; developed experiential learning programme; and piloted across a sample group in 2007. The programme was considered a significant success and has been rolled out across KPMG globally with 4 programmes running in 2009.

An international leadership development provider, delivering a range of leadership training programmes to decision-makers drawn from all sectors of society. Established its Consultancy business in 2006. Promoted to Head of the Consultancy Practice to lead the design, development and delivery of all bespoke leadership programmes across a national customer base. Performance is measured against revenue targets (£500k p/a), programme design & delivery, client satisfaction and staff development. Manage a team of 4 L&D Directors across a client list that includes PwC, KPMG, BT, Age Concern, Abbey, NHS, Arts Council and many others.

Designed and delivered various leadership programmes including: Leading Beyond Authority; Leading Change in Complexity; Differentiating Yourself as a Leader; Leading in Civil Society (preparing for non-executive Directorships); and Context Driven Leadership.

Performed extensive research across global markets to identify market requirements for leadership development aimed at young / emerging high flyers. Designed and delivered internal training across Common Purpose’s Consultants and represented the company in regional and national media.

Responsible for leading all business activities across London (2000 to 2002) and Bristol (2002 to 2005) with a focus on designing, delivering and managing innovative leadership programmes for senior decision makers.
Played a key role in networking and developing strategic relationships with CEOs and senior executives across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. These senior figures played a key role in providing input and support to Common Purpose’s programmes. The role involved extensive business development and securing sponsorship / bursaries from private sector organisations to subsidise and facilitate minority group participation.
