Major successes included winning bids for the:

· £400M Jaguar relocation to Halewood

· CSC's recruitment of 400 iSoft staff in Knowsley

· Bertelsmann's £130M print plant established at Speke.

1989 - 94 Bid Proposal Manager- BNFL working with Business Development Managers to marshal the written and financial components of tenders and pre-qualification returns, including agreeing bid/no bid decisions, agreeing sub-contractor agreements, developing bid strategies and ensuring that operational department costs are realistic.

Successful bids included:

· Process plants & their associated infra-structure; mechanical handling equipment & vessels/transport flasks

· Safety assessments; value engineering studies; process, construction & environmental feasibility studies.

1981 - 89 Civils Design Team Leader - UKAEA/BNFL responsible for the design and tendering process for engineering schemes at Dounreay, AWRE, Winfrith and Sellafield including: railways; process buildings; water and sewage treatment plants; active drainage schemes; roads, and drainage.

1975 - 79 Resident Engineer - John Taylor & Sons Consulting Engineers supervising public health and water supply schemes in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

1972 - 75 Industrial Development Engineer - Warrington Development

1979 - 81 Corporation responsible for the design and tendering process for industrial and commercial buildings & their associated infrastructure.

1970 - 72 NW Road Construction Unit (Cheshire), ICE Articled Training Under Agreement.
