CARIER SUMARY More than Five years Instrumentation & Control engineering design, procurement and construction experience in the Oil and Gas industry both in offshore & onshore production facility. I have carried out instrumentation work on various engineering design project from conceptual design, FEED design to Detailed Engineering design, with responsibility not limited to, development of instrument specification, control systems philosophy, and various instrumentation and control drawings. I have been a team member of many projects on LNG plant, FPSO, and Offshore production platform facilities. Sound technical background and expertise experienced in the use of appropriate codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation not limited to ISA, API, Shell DEP, ExxonMobil Master Spec and Chevron gray book manual. Carry out work in accordance with company and project Healthy, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ˇ Development of instrument specification sheets in full compliance with recognized industry standards, safety standards, and various project specifications.

ˇ Develop Instrument index and Instrument I/O count List.

ˇ Prepare estimates and schedules and assist in their review, job execution plan, cost time resources (CRTs), and man hour estimate for Instrumentation group scope on different projects.

ˇ Input to PFD/P&ID development

ˇ Development of installation details drawings.

ˇ Sizing and specification of instrument, like control valves, relief valve and flow instrument

ˇ Coordinate engineering and design activities with other project disciplines.

ˇ Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements.

ˇ Review & check the vendor drawings and documents as per project requirements.

ˇ Produce instrument cable and tubing schedule.

ˇ Generate instrument drawing not limited to; Loop drawings, Instrument location layout, ESSDS block diagram, control system block diagram, Fire and Gas Block diagram and Telecommunication block diagram.

ˇ Development of SAFE Chart and Cause & Effect Matrix in compliance with API-14C pressure systems primary and secondary protection integrated with P&IDs process analysis.

Responsibilities include:

ˇ Prepare estimates and schedules and assist in their review, job execution plan, cost time resources (CRTs), and man hour estimate for Instrumentation group scope

ˇ Prepare and update technical specification on telecommunication systems and fire and gas systems

ˇ Prepare Instrument data sheet on control panel, control valve relief valve and flow element

ˇ Carryout Instrument calculation and sizing on Control valve, relief valve, flow element

ˇ Provide input to PFD & P&ID development

ˇ Prepare Safe Chart/Cause and Effect Matrixes

ˇ API 14C compliance report with pressure systems primary and secondary protection integrated with P&IDs process analysis.

ˇ Provide necessary support and guidance to the CAD designers to develop all Instrumentation and control drawings

ˇ Plan and perform all site verification activities including drawing verification, API 14C compliance review, Instrument Inspection etc. as per the direction given by Lead Instrument Engineer and Project work scope.
