· Major project in Methanol-to-Gasoline technology with a key focus on the homologation of methanol to ' Triptane' as a replacement for MTBE where I developed a novel one-pot direct synthesis to 2,2,3-trimethybutane from methanol

· Experience with reagents, catalysts and techniques involved in MTG, Syngas-to-Acetic Acid and heterogeneous organometallic catalysed polymerisations

· Use of techniques for product and inorganic-catalyst formulation including Sol/Gel, Colloidal Precipitation and Incipient Wetness deposition

· Development of new catalysts, including Micelle-Templated-Silica Mesoporous Materials, Heteropoly-Acids and Rare-Earth/Noble metal impregnated supports
