SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE

Eighteen years experience within the Oil & Gas industry, the last fifteen years of which were mainly concerned with Offshore Mech. / HVAC / Building Services Detail Design, Construction, Maintenance and Commissioning related issues. HVAC design projects directly involved with, FPSO and Platform Living Quarters, Drilling and Topside module Design. Scope of work included: Bid Evaluation, Estimating, Module Fabrication Punchout, Job Card writing leading to Work Pack Development, Pre-engineering prior to Work Implementation. Fully conversant with most Major Oil Company Safety Management Systems / Permitry, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of HVAC Systems, also I am familiar with both British and American Codes and Practices.

Formative years of my career, I was a Resident Mech Eng. with a Onshore based Consultancy. Mainly involved in the design of M & E Building Services for both the Private Sector and Military Installations, including all aspects of Mech / HVAC / Fire Protection design. Responsible for Project Supervision, M & E Co-ordination, use of computer based calc's (spreadsheets), planning, estimating, procurement, multi-discipline designpack compilation and finally Test and Commissioning. For both onshore & offshore based projects.

Particular interests being HVAC Building Services design, Maintenance and site supervision / engineering of industrial and commercial heating & ventilation, air conditioning, fire protection services, plumbing & drainage services, lighting, acoustics, Building Automated Control & Monitoring and Commissioning, in connection with NHS and private sector hospitals, hotels, schools, military and industrial installations.

Snr HVAC Eng. (Acting Lead Eng) responsible for all aspects of the HVAC design for the Brent EV Project (Enhanced Voidage), from 'cradle to grave' i.e. Conceptual, Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning and Maintenance. HVAC team member involved with the Shell Brent Field ISC Contract and other Corporate Wood Group Projects, namely: BP/Amoco, Texaco, Enterprise and Amerada Hess.

Heat Stress Analysis for the Brent Field Temporary Refuge (Living Quarters) Safety Case.

Involved with HVAC / Safety area classification to API 15 Standards.

Conceptual Design Phase

Involved in the production of the Brent Bravo and Charlie LTFD Conceptual and Refurbishment Design Reports and Workpacks. Involving all aspects of budgetary estimation and equipment specification.

Brent Change Proposal (CP)

Design Team Member, involved in new or modified design scope to existing HVAC systems, by co-ordinated M & E workpack. Workscope comprises, Offshore surveys, data acquisition, detail design, procurement, installation workscope and job carding, commissioning, management of fabricators/vendors and QA design verification for auditing purposes.

Design Eng in charge of a small CAD Design group responsible for the implementation of ES/245 Fire Damper Replacement exercise for the Brent Field.

Mainly involved in all aspects of Building Services Design associated with onshore and offshore industry. All projects involved design, estimation, planning and/or trouble shooting of new or existing HVAC ventilation systems.

Offshore design work included the production of Mini Workpacks for the design of new and/or modifications/refurbishment to existing ventilation systems. The supervision of installation works, material quality controls



(BS 5750) and Test and Commissioning of HVAC systems onshore and offshore (during hook-up phase).
