Profile

An effective, highly motivated and well qualified Project Manager with significant and proven experience in delivering Business Relocations, IT & Communications Infrastructure Projects, Systems and Line management. A conscientious worker with excellent problem solving abilities, used to meeting deadlines and working under pressure. Possesses excellent inter personal skills and a keen sense of humour.

Management Experience

Extensive experience of managing small, medium and large scale projects in both Government and commercial sectors using structured methodologies and quality control methods and environments (Prince1 & 2, AMS, APM, Catalyst, BS5750, TQM, ISO9001, H&SW & CDM).

Involved in all phases of a project lifecycle. Extensive experience as Installation Design Authority.

· Responsible for the provision of a single production secure network in order to meet the demands of the business in ensuring increased efficiencies in communication and business production, including the migration of legacy systems and applications to the new network.

· Managed the provision of a secure interconnection between UKHO and the MOD and other agencies providing secure email and data transfer.

· Managed the co-location of the defence branches to meet the business plan in order to enhance security and communication.

· Responsible for the provision of DII & CHOTS infrastructure, services and facilities to meet the requirement for the relocation of 900 users into a MOD building from multiple sites arising from the planned refurbishment programme, including the management of 3 rd party IT & cabling contractors. Financial management of a £1M budget.
