* To lead and assist the introduction of "Lean" manufacturing techniques within Operations (Kanbans, 5S, Kaizen, OEE, Value Stream Mapping Etc)

* To identify, investigate and implement capital projects

Fire Recovery Project Manager

* Due to a major fire I was requested to lead a Team to get the Taps & Mixer department assembly area back up and running due to losing all of their assembly benches & tools within the fire.

* Organising & designing special inserts for sending polished products out to sub-contract chrome plating suppliers to ensure a damage free product.

* Once up & running became the Assembly Manager for the area until a replacement manager could be found. Responsible for 31 personnel and ensuring production was running 30% higher than normal to meet customer demand that was lost during the first few weeks after the fire.

* Moved back into Project Engineering role to Project Manage the installation of New Chrome Plating, Gold Line & Effluent Plant (£2m + investment) lost in the fire.

Lean Business facilitator
