  • Responsible for attending to and resolving Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns on a call out basis.

ˇ Employed on a contract basis as an Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning Engineer working on the United Utilities Amp3 projects.

ˇ Duties include generating and checking plant design documentation, instrument specification sheets, procurement of equipment, formulating and undertaking commissioning duties, formulation of commissioning and training plans and execution. ˇ During my apprenticeship training I gained the following experience in both electrical and electronic control panel manufacturing in all its stages. From functional design specifications, analogue and digital instrumentation to automated controls using relay logic and programmable logic controllers, printed circuit board assemblies, mechanical construction of motor control centres, component layout, fitting, wiring and testing.

ˇ During this time I became fully conversant with the use of both hand tools and test equipment. All training Skills achieved were in accordance with standards as laid down by such companies as ICI, BNFL, British Aerospace British Airways and National UK Water Authorities.
