Feb 2006 to May 2006 Infrastructure Division Manager - Al Huda Engineering

Employed in Doha, Qatar to provide technical and managerial support to recently established division of the company.



The orderbook for roads and drainage contracts is around₤60 million.

Contracts include:-

Deep sewer installation in rock, both open cut and micro-tunnelling systems being used; construction of Reinforced Concrete Pumping Stations;

New road construction and road reconstruction works within Doha and Major Road Project with both Roads and Bridges.

April 2003 to Nov. 2005 Contracts Manager - Turner Facilities Management Ltd

Initially started work within the organisation as Project Manager based in Bosnia.

Promoted to Contract Manager responsible for Construction of New Works and maintenance of facilities, providing both hard and soft FM services, within the ISP Pan Balkan contract, involving the design, procurement and management of all works; total contract valued at ₤12m per year.

Appointed to manage the contract through a team of 10 on-site Managers and 250 staff.

Responsible for technical and operational management of Pan Balkans contract for the MoD, this contract included all British Military sites within the two countries for maintenance and refurbishment of accommodation, technical and office areas

Ensuring effective delivery of contractual requirements throughout sites in Bosnia and Kosovo

Controlled financial and budgetary planning, maintenance and commercial planning issues.

Ensured the achievement of contract productivity goals and general production plans.

Appointed to control MoD contract based overseas in the Falkland Islands

Worked for the Oil Service Company of Iran supervising sub-contractors carrying out building works and road works around oil production units in southern Iran.

1976 - 1977 Field Construction Engineer -Fluor- Iran

Employed to carry out setting out and general engineering duties on process areas in construction of new $300m Natural Gas Processing Plant on the Pazanan gas field in southern Iran.
