Lead Designer for 50 tonne module to be used on the Alvheim FPSO in the North Sea.

Tweedsmuir Amine Gas Sweetening Package (AMEC - Piper Bravo)

The package consists of 12 No. 25 tonne modules, 2 No. free standing towers and all interconnecting pipe work.

The whole package is bolted to the side of the existing platform and has presented some unusual and challenging problems.

Responsibilities on these projects include:

The Azeri project is a large scale development in the Caspian Sea. While working on the various stages of the project I spent time as a Piper and also spent nearly a year producing detailed pipe support design.

Forcados Yokri (Shell Nigeria)

Lead designer on a $20,000,000 contract for an onshore refinery in Nigeria. My main role was to create conceptual designs and then oversee the detailed design of over 40 modules.

At the height of the project I was overseeing a team of 10 pipers and draughtsmen.

Bayu Undan Glycol Regeneration Unit (Phillips Petroleum)

This project remains the largest single unit that KCC has ever produced weighing over 300 tonnes.

KCC received an excellence award by Phillips Petroleum for the design of this package.

In addition I spent 3 months in Abu Dhabi overseeing the fabrication of the package.

Wen Separators (China National Oil Company)

Design of separator internals for an FPSO. Large Pitch and Yaw of the FPSO during operation made the separation process very difficult, and required some revolutionary internal design.

Fuel gas conditioning unit - ONGC (India)

Tengiz Chervon Molecular Sieve Gas Conditioning Plant.
