Summary of Experience: Many years experience in Mechanical Engineering Design both in the UK and Canada. I have worked in a wide range of fields. My main areas of expertise are in plant layout and detail mechanical design. I have gained some structural and civil experience while working on many projects. - Senior Design Engineer responsible for Checking and the production of Calculations, Design Proposals and Detail Design of Plant and High Precision Special Purpose Machinery for the Nuclear Industry. This was primarily for the BNFL site at Sellafield.

Projects worked on:

- Weyerhaeuser Dryden, Ontario: Mechanical Checker on the Air Emissions project. This project included the installation of a new Recovery Boiler, Precipitators, Pre-evaporators and Concentrators. My responsibilities included checking the 3D PASCE model and mechanical construction drawings.

- Cominco American Pend Oreille, Washington, USA: Loaned to the mining department as mechanical checker on the mine upgrade project. Responsible for checking arrangement and detail drawings for the underground crushing area and transfer conveyors.

- Weyerhaeuser Dryden, Ontario: Mechanical Lead on the #2 Fine Paper Machine Optimization project. This project included a new Shoe Press, Vac Roll conversions, Doctor upgrades, Ropeless Threading, Broke system upgrade, new Machine and Broke Screens, new Cleaners and various pump changes.
