Whilst seconded to Andersen Consulting, responsible for programme and project management of mission critical business process re-engineering, organisational design and change management of a department of 1,000+ staff. Including: production of business processes, workflows, task/systems analysis, KPIs, HR structure development, role analysis and quantifying training needs. Monitoring and performance assessment of multi-project programmes.

Ensuring the generation of business user requirements for service level agreements for IT applications covering all business functions of United Utilities and definition of high level, reporting and customer related procedures.

Design, development and implementation of a wide range of regional policies, including a major Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme which included: BCM project initiation, carrying out Business Impact Analysis, risk assessment, developing BCM strategies and emergency response approaches. Also designed and delivered awareness and training programmes, organised plan-testing events and interfaced with departments and agencies external to Asset Maintenance. Similar high level projects included developing an operations wide archiving strategy, determining IT systems operational backup requirements.
