2005 - Present

Aerospheres are distributors of materials, spares and components to the aerospace and related industries.

Joined Aerospheres in July 2005 as Sales Manager responsible for the field sales and marketing aspects of the company.

Duties include the contact and visiting of both existing and new accounts throughout the world with a view to securing orders.

Concentrating particularly on larger accounts such as major airlines, OEM's and MRO's with a view to setting up sole source contracts.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Lighting and Ceiling Louvres, South Woodham Ferrers

2003 - 2005

Joined LCL in November 2003

Responsible for all aspects of the company's sales and marketing activities including the development of new markets both within the UK and overseas. Controlling of the UK and export field sales force and internal sales staff and responsible for liaison between the companies design and development department and customers.

Also responsible for leading the company diversification away from its traditional products and into new market sectors.

Major Achievements: secured the company a lucrative UK distributorship for energy saving fluorescent lamps manufactured in the far east and also responsible for setting the coming up as an agent for a Bulgarian company who manufacture aluminium castings

EPS were sheet metalwork manufacturers dealing primarily with the telecommunications industries.

In 1999 EPS decided to venture into sub contract manufacturing

Joined EPS in November 1999 to head up the sales side of this venture selling to known contacts and new business areas.

Major Achievements: Winning over a number of known accounts to EPS from within the aerospace, defence and hi-tech sectors and developing new accounts to work towards achieving a projected turnover of £2 million per annum.





Area Manager, Gladstone Fasteners. (Home Based).

1994 - 1999

Gladstone Fasteners were a major supplier of fasteners and other engineering consumables to a wide variety of industries. Initially employed as Branch Manager for the Hemel Hempstead depot with full responsibility for all day to day aspects of the area's business. This included sales, purchasing, site maintenance, staff etc.

In October 1997 due to poor group figures it was decided to close the branch. The role of Branch Manager converted to Area Manager with full emphasis on sales for the southern half of the U.K. The role covered responsibility for maintaining and expanding the existing customer base together with the setting up of new major accounts.

Major Achievements: Winning sole source contracts with a number of customers including Mirror Group Newspapers

Adams and Hann (Aircraft) Ltd are a major supplier of fasteners and fastener related products to the aerospace and defence industries.

Reorganised the internal routing procedure for quotations, orders and release notes to ensure a faster turnaround

and quicker response to customers.

Responsible for planning and leading company programmes to the successful achievement of CAA approval as a fastener supplier.

Responsible for the production engineering and production/stock control of the company's fibre optic division.

Implemented a production/stock control computer system achieving a reduction in lead times of 30%

Also responsible for drawing office management, implementing new tooling techniques and controlling design and development of manufacturing jigs and fixtures.

Served a 4 year fully indentured apprenticeship gaining experience of a wide range of workshop practices.

This included the repair of glass blow moulds, instruments and electronics inspection equipment.
