My current role is required to maintain and repair all Mechanical and Electrical aspects of equipment and utilities including: Ingredient mixers, Dough cutter, Prover, Oven, Cooler and Packaging machines involved in the production of morning bread products, safely and with the minimum downtime. Also process and automated control applications including: Allen Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC's fault finding, diagnosis and repair.

August 1998 - January 2004MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER.

SCA Hygiene Products Ltd. West Pimbo, Skelmersdale.

My role involved the preventative maintenance and the safe and efficient breakdown repair of the paper machine and its auxiliary plant equipment and utilities. Auxiliary plant equipment include; a Combined Heat and Power Scheme part owned by Innogy, comprising of a stand-alone 8MW Gas Turbine Generator, two steam package boilers and natural gas distribution. An ABB. Advant DCS is required for the process measurement and automated control of all systems on the TAD paper machine, ABB ACS 600 variable speed motor drives. Modifications to instrument, electrical and mechanical control systems including PLC programmes and drawings. I was also responsible, as a Senior Authorised Person to issue permits to work and supervise maintenance contractors.

January 1998 - July 1998ANALYSER SYSTEMS COMMISSIONING ENGINEER.

Employed in engineering, construction, supervision and on site commissioning of packaged analyser systems for various clients worldwide in the oil exploration / refinery and petro-chemical industry. Preparation of quotes and budget estimates. Specifying and ordering of all equipment. Production of operation + maintenance manuals and factory acceptance testing + schedules. Inspection and calibration of vendor equipment ie: gas chromatographs, emission monitoring systems and effluent T.O.C. analysers.
