EPERIENCE:
Third year research project and published paper:
"The costs & consequences of parasitoid attack for the predatory hoverfly, Episyrphus balteatus"

ˇ Experiments involved the use of a wide range of scientific techniques and apparatus in order to identify changes in larval & pupal biometrics, predatory rates and adult survivorship. This involved a lot of unsupervised independent lab based work carried out for often long and sometimes unsociable hours.
ˇ Comprehensive literature reviews and complex statistical data analyses were also necessary to achieve the full scientific presentation and dissertation concluding the final year project.
