Reliability Engineer

· Responsible for the optimum provision of all site services including building maintenance through the selection and subsequent management of specialist external contractors.

- Management of a £250k/annum daily budget and £200k/annum for service contracts.

- Development of comprehensive standard operating procedures.

➢ Leading member of the team, which gained Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) accreditation for the Birstall site. Key elements involved positive liaison with the Environment Agency and several projects including drainage surveys, effluent routing and processing and bunded area construction.

➢ Successfully optimised the Bio Filter (effluent, boiler and compressed air systems) with a £35k investment yielding 7% savings and an 18 month payback - a substantial contribution to the organisations' climate control levy (CCL).

· Project management of specialist teams of personnel engaged in all aspects of performance improvement and regulatory compliance.

· Training and coaching of shift process personnel in Multi-skilled operation and first line maintenance.
