➢ Emergency Response Review, Sonatrach, Algeria
This project involved a visit to several sites throughout Algeria perform a gap analysis on Sonatrach's emergency response systems. It involved management system review, audit of current procedures and site inspections. The recommendations will be included in the implementation of an integrated HSE MS.
➢ Safety Case Management, ConocoPhillips
In this role I am supporting the safety case manager in procedural updates, safety case revisions, meetings on and offshore, risk assessments, general safety awareness campaigns and ensuring compliance with the SMS. It involves liaison with teams throughout the company on a day-to-day basis providing ad-hoc advice and support as and when required.
➢ Containment Audit, Well Intervention Vessel, Well Ops
This survey identified compliance issues against NORSOK regulations prior to the vessels deployment to Norwegian waters. This involved investigating hardware, behavioural and procedural controls in place to ensure hazardous liquid containment. Ad-hoc provision of operational procedures to ensure compliance. I am currently planning the gap analysis audit as a prequel to ISO 14001 implementation.
➢ Standby Vessel Requirements, ONGC India
This involved reviewing international best practice for standby vessels and using complex statistical analysis to advise on the number, location and classification of vessels required.
➢ IADC Guidelines Implementation, Jack-Up Drilling Rig
An aspects register, objectives & target, an action plan and work site assessments were put in place on the rig to ensure compliance with the Danish authorities, the IADC HSE Case and to provide a basis for an integrated management system. This involved a site visit to identify the aspects, risk assessment and evaluation of the control measures in place.
➢ Design Review, New Build Gas Platform, Qatar
This project involved assessing the company's documentation against Qatar requirements, the EIA and the HSE Case. The scope of work covered waste management, flare, atmospheric emissions, occupational health, drainage systems, acoustics and long term monitoring plans.
➢ Change Management, ConocoPhillips
Addressing the risks associated with an internal reorganisation. Involved interfacing with key staff members to ensure all work processes were mapped prior to departmental mergers and job realignments.
➢ Project Management and Proposal Writing
I have worked extensively on proposal writing which required budget analysis, resource allocation and project management. New projects have typically been centred around impact assessments and regulatory compliance issues for new developments in North Africa and the Middle East.
