Liaised with site engineers, ASDT and Connect and dealt with queries. Processed requirements for variations and DNO upgrades. (Contract).

06-10/2005 EMCOR / CCS RAIL, Swanscombe, Kent (CTRL Project)

Quality Control Engineer (ITPs) - Responsible for tracking and reviewing Inspection Test Plans. Primarily M&E, LV Distribution, VSDs, Cabling, Earthing and Containment. Checked documents and drawings for compliance with RLE requirements. For example, Snagging Reports, Punch List Entries, Pre-Start Check Sheets, Progressive Records, Elevations and Chainage. Produced Comments Report on defects for Engineers to carry forward for re-submission of documents for further review before submitting to RLE (Rail Link Engineering). Finished document with appropriate face sheets, content sheets and drawing lists. Submitted document to RLE for comment and approval. Achieved 80% pass rate, from 0%. (Contract)

03-06/2005 FITZPATRICK, London E14 (Blackwall Tunnel Project)

M&E and Comms Inspector - Responsible for carrying out final inspections to M&E installation to determine compliance with design drawings and standards. Teamed with WS Atkins and Tyco and inspected cabling, cable trays, DBs, UPS, lighting, fire apparatus, SOS, comms and CCTVs etc. Produced snagging reports. Carried forward issues. (Inspections completed contract ended)

2004-2005 NETWORK RAIL, London NW1 (Rail Projects - West Coast Mainline)

Contingency Planner - Responsible for producing the WCML Contingency Plans document to the September 2004 timetable. Liaised with TOCs (Train Operating Companies) and FOCs (Freight Operating Companies) to obtain details of their preferred strategies to be applied at times of Total Blockage and Single Line Working. Negotiated and compromised these strategies as required by liaison with NR Area Operations Managers (AOPs). Compiled and entered final agreed strategies with tables into document. Ran Total and Partial blockage scenarios for Project Implementation Planning team to find ways to minimize Passenger and Freight train delays and cancellations. 2003-2004 SEEBOARD EDF, London. (Rail Projects - LUL)

Document Control Engineer - Responsible for LUL project station upgrade document control. And for monitoring and expediting progress to closure of M&E and Fire discipline snagging items and technical queries. Word and Excel (Contract)

2002-2003 BECHTEL for NETWORK RAIL, London. (Rail Projects).

CET (Consents and Environment Team) Utilities Manager - Responsible for utilities for all areas affected by the Thameslink 2000 project proposed works. Liaised with contractors Skanska, Atkins Rail, Jarvis, Taylor Woodrow, Laing, Balfour Beatty and Scott Wilson, and set up interface with utility companies. Arranged and attended Utility Interface Meetings and discussed utility diversions, costs and time schedules with all utility companies that had plant affected by the proposed works. Liaised with local authorities and TFL to discuss street closures and traffic diversions. Obtained utility drawings from utility companies, map referenced and distributed copies to contractors. Set up drawings database. Coordinated and formulated programme with Atkins Rail. Carried forward issues and resolved queries. Liaised within CET to discuss noise and environmental issues. LUL Post 2. PPP Executive Support Manager - Responsible for carrying out station inspections and for producing reports on Safety issues and M&E and Ambience defects. Examples; No earth bonding, incorrect fittings, low luminance, water ingress and seepage, defaced posters, uneven and damaged platforms, damaged tiling, non-compliant tensa barriers and unclear platform safety lines. Referred to LUL Engineering and British Standards and the LUL Working Reference Manual. Reviewed progress documents. Arranged and attended meetings with GSMs, DSMs and Station Supervisors and carried forward issues. Liaised with infraco BCV (Metronet) disciplines, Fault Reporting Centre and contractors, and expedited outstanding works to closure. LUL MS Packages.
