EXPERIENCE: spent 40 years in Onshore and Offshore Contracting, mainly in the Oil and Gas Industry in Project Engineering and Management roles. He has spent brief periods working abroad in Norway, Holland, Sing apore, Libya and Greece, and has gained experience working for Suppliers, Fabricators, Contractors and Operators. Over the last twenty five years he has been engaged equally on Offshore and Onshore Projects, including Refineries, GOSPS, Pipelines and FPSO's. Has performed Management and Engineering roles in office and site based locations, through the phases of Conceptual Engineering, FEED, detailed Design, Fabrication, Construction and latterly Commissioning.

2004 - Present FOSTER WHEELER ENERGY LTD. (Contract)

Senior Project Engineer

Co-ordinating the input of two Licensor Process Packages to a FEED Project for an EPC Contract for the design and construction of Refinery Sulphur Recovery and Flue Gas Desulphurisation Units in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. Subsequently undertook the role of Interface Project Engineer for Offsites and Utilities, during the EPC Phase of the Refinery and Petrochem project.

2004 - 2004 TEKNICA OIL SERVICES (Overseas) LTD. (Contract)

Site Supervision Manager

Managing a multidiscipline team of nine Engineers and Technicians involved in field inspection of construction work, of the Mellitah Gas Compression Station on the Libyan Coast, for client Green Stream (AGIP North Africa).

2000 - 2004 TEKNICA ENTERPRISES LTD. (Contract)

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Located in the Athens office of a Detailed Design and Construction Contractor representing the interests of a Libyan Oil Company (AGOCO), approving and co-ordinating the approval of multi-discipline design documentation during the Detailed Design and Construction Phases of two Gas Lift Compressor Stations and Pipelines in the Libyan desert.

Project Manager

Promoted to PM during assignment in Athens, and managed a team of four engineers in the supervision of the Detailed Design Contractor, subsequently transferred to Benghazi (AGOCO Offices) and finally site, to complete the Construction Phase and manage Commissioning.

2000 - 2000 HIGH-POINT RENDELL (Contract)

Resident Engineer

Performed this role for a three month period, as a consultant to a Libyan client (BPMC), managing the procurement and construction activities of a Turkish Contractor, involved in the re-construction of an Oil Tanker Off-loading Jetty, at the construction site in Misurata, Libya.

Senior Project Engineer

Leading a team of engineers (4) during site surveys in Libya and subsequent FEED work in UK, for Fire & Safety upgrades to existing onshore Oil & Gas facilities.

Senior Project Engineer

Located in London office, engaged in the preparation of tenders for GOSPS and Pipelines for Western Libya Gas Project. Subsequently performed the role of Lead Mechanical Engineer on a FEED contract for the Elephant Field Development, Libya.
