Other responsibilities include supervision of site staff, management of the spool base sub contractor, daily progress reporting, daily resource reporting, project man-hour reports, Other duties include offshore coordination, management of the enabling contract, liasing with the client and their representatives, resolve engineering issues and rectify production problems. Attend daily meetings with the production staff and sub-contractors. Further duties are managing the site facility and infrastructure, plant and equipment maintenance, compiling risk assessments and job specific procedures in order to carry out various activities, highlighting areas of concern and ensure that construction activities are carried out safely and that everyone is aware of their responsibilities and duties. Based in Turkey as the Technical Manager on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan 42 & 46in section of pipeline for the above contractor in a JV, initially writing and approving procedures and method statements for all the Construction activities of the pipeline, Block Valve Stations and sub contractors for the specialist areas of the project. Leading a team of discipline engineers and inspectors I was responsible for a 90km section of the line along with the BVS's, in field engineering, T.Q's, Project Progress Reporting, QA/QC, Mech. Completions, Final Certification and Hand Over Documentation for the whole JV section of the pipeline.

POSITION: - PROJECT MANAGER

Project Manager and Point of Contact, on a new build Hydro Cyclone De-sanding Skid Unit for a B.P. Floating Production Unit located in the Gulf of Mexico, Responsible for the Process and Design Engineering, Detailed Engineering and Draughting and all discipline engineering associated with the unit. Overall responsibility for the safe construction and on-site activities of the skid manufacture, hydro testing, commissioning and load out at the sub-contractors Construction Yard in Louisiana, also to ensure that the payment milestones are met and that the skid is delivered on time, within budget and to the client's requirements and specification. Other project duties include R & D, Design Review, Project Cost and Budget Control, Variations to Contract, Resolving Engineering issues, Project Schedule, Progress Reporting, writing and approving Method Statements and Project Specific Procedures, purchasing, "As Built" drawings, ensuring the contractor's compliance to the specs. and timely receipt of Contract Deliverables.

POSITION: WORKS MANAGER

Senior position and I was in charge of 6 Supervisors leading a multi-disciplined workforce of around 140 men during the fabrication of bracings, nodes, risers, sub-sea structures, bridges, heat exchangers and pressure vessels. Responsible for the manning levels, planning/progress reporting and budget control. Co-ordinate production and completions, Contract reviews kick-off presentations and wash up meetings. Liase with the client's representatives, sub-contractors and certifying authority. Creating and administering of procedures for the Company to be assessed and qualify for BS 5750, introduced the system into the factory and devised a system of component completions, which increased the through put of the workshop and therefore despatching and invoicing the component quicker, easing the cash flow and shop floor congestion. Started at R & F as the Estimator, later promoted to Works Supervisor, because of the above completions systems, I took control of the QA/QC Department later promoted to the Works Manager answering to the Board of Directors.

POSITION: PROF TECHNICAL OFFICER(CONST ESTIMATOR)

Answering to the Department Manager and responsible for: The Estimating, planning, scheduling, refurbishment and replacement of construction and outfitting materials and equipment during the refit of SSBN and Conventional submarines as well as surface vessels.
