Project - Wirral PFI Schools - value approx £11m

Duties - Reporting to the Project Director, for completion of 5 No. schools after moratorium of activity in adherence with contractual programme - including - overseeing Health, Safety and Environment issues. Implementing SHE policies, adherence to company safety, quality and environmental policies. Oversee 5 No. project Managers and associated site staff. Attend monthly client meeting (WMBC). Coordinate external design consultants Architects, sub contractors. Team leader on 4 additional live occupied schools to implement correction of faults, monitoring maintenance. In conjunction with procurement managers develop agree project procurement strategies. In conjunction with procurement manager, invite tenders, select and make the final appointment decisions of all consultants and other external specialists necessary to facilitate the achievement of the project. Co-ordinate motivate and direct the project teams, contractors and consultants to ensure that all safety, quality, cost and programme targets are met to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Ensure the implementation of all Health and Safety and Fire Safety requirements of the project; issue and supervise necessary to licenses/notices, ensure that materials are used and stored in compliance with company rules - to ensure compliance with all corporate and legal requirements.

Project - New £15 million NHS Trust Hospital and refurbishment of existing buildings, including new access road and car parks. Key task was to bring NHS Trust Hospital to completion, which at my commencement was overdue by 12 months.

Duties - Reporting to Contract Manager for all site construction activity and implementation and adherence to Quality and Safety Plans. Monitoring of appointed subcontractors in accordance with Contractual Programme. Attendance of weekly client meetings (NHS Trust). Liaison with designers/architects. Procurement of all materials. Co-ordinate 15 No. office staff. Attendance at Head Office (Chorley) for monthly board meetings, to report on programme safety, finance on this procure 21 contract at Chester. Chair weekly subcontract and staff meetings.
