2004 - Present: BOC PLC - Job Title: Project Engineer - Process Systems Engineering

Assigned multiple Vacuum Engineering Projects and managing the process of Design, Planning, Resource Management and Equipment Procurement. Projects undertaken include various 'Hazardous location' process pumping systems Compromising of Liquid Ring Pumps, Mechanical Booster pumps, Motors, Fabrications, Heat exchangers, Control valves and Electrical control logics. Other projects include Industrial Blowers & Exhauster systems for Industrial and Environmental applications

Responsibilities:

Technical and commercial responsibility for Projects from initiation stage to completion, main point of contact for communications with contractors & End client

•Project Management to meet agreed client program.

•Project cost control and reporting for analysis against estimates (EV)

•Reviewing client specifications and Clarifying discrepancies.

•Preparation of E&M Specifications for bought out Equipment.

•Creating BOM's for processing of Equipment through procurement system.

•Preparation of Project Technical Files & Documentation (CE Marking)

•Responsibility for in-house Design engineers for production of GA and P&ID drawings.

•Interpreting Electrical & Mechanical Drawings

•Preparation of Work Data for in-house Assembly & Test Department instructions.

•Overseeing Design / Safety Reviews with group Technical Authoritory.

•Completion of commercial documentation.

•Clients include - Qatar Petroleum, United Utilities, Peter Brotherhood, Eimco
