am at present contracted to @One alliance Looking after water trunk main renewals within East Anglian Region. This role involves the normal day to day duties of a contracts manager.

I was the contract/construction manager working on the renewal of water mains in North and west London. This involved controlling the budget, planning, sub-contractors and instillation of new water mains for Three Valleys Water. I was working with Enterprise, Balfour Beatty and KNS.

I was working on the contract for the extension of the west of London congestion charge. My role is to set up a team and to manage then for all the enabling, planning and installation works necessary to fulfil our contract requirements. This involves meetings with all undertakers, councils, emergency services sub contractors etc.

My role was to manage the additional contracts works on behalf of Thales on section 2 of the shafts on the CTRL route from Kent to London. I was involved with the procurement and selection of a contractor, selecting of an installation team, supervisory staff and to make sure that they fully understood the requirements of the contract. I attended meetings with the client as required to make sure the contract ran to plan and all contractual obligations where fulfilled.

I was taken on for a short term contract to deal with the day to day contractual arrangements for the refurbishment works on several Marks & Spencer stores in the south of England.I reported to the board of directors.

My role was to develop, win and manager new contracts within the company. Having been successful in winning 2 bids I set them up and they are now in full flow. I also managed the construction of a new Driver Simulator Building for the Home Office, which was completed on time and to budget. I was also responsible for the signing off BOQ, schedule of rates, payments and appointing Sub contractors. I was accountable to the managing director and board of directors.

I was managing the role out of the Network Rail, Fixed Telecomm Network and the GSM-R Network in Area 63 & Area 35 for the joint venture of Laing O'Rourke Waterland. Prior to this work starting I worked on:
Successfully negotiated of new contracts with the Irish government.
Introduced new QMS that increased profit & turnover.
Attend all client progress & development meetings.
Reporting to the CEO and the JV Board of Directors.
Implemented training for new staff and operatives. Preparation and submittal of tender documents.

I was employed on a short term contract as an RE to monitor, control & Assist with the enabling work for the embankment stabilization works at Turnham Green station.

Responsible for the construction & cable placement within the UK & Northern Europe.
Managed contractors and suppliers.
Provided support & solutions to the Tycom Board of Directors in the USA on OSP.
To ensure all company standards conform to the relevant Health & Safety statutory & local authority requirements.

Responsible for 180 technicians/operatives & office staff
Tripled the regional revenue for the North West area.
Expanded the client base to include SKY TV account.
