An experienced Operations / Project Manager with 25 years experience in the communication/construction/Railway industry with a proven track record of developing, constructing and maintaining Networks and buildings on time and within budget. My most noticeable achievements are the successful construction and completion of a SDH Fibre route from Devon to London, London to Filey (North Yorkshire) across the North Sea into the Netherlands, Germany, and France and back to London. (£97M) This involved building refurbishments and Highway works. I also managed the "First Blown Fibre" city Network within Europe. I have worked at the front end of Design and Implementation of OSP and Transmission Networks across Europe. Skilled in project definition, Resourcing and financial management. I have vast experience of costing for all manpower and materials. High-level management experience when dealing with contractors, suppliers and clients.
My objective is to continue to work within the communications/civil engineering industry where I can maintain and use my vast experience in contract negotiations, P&L, regulatory compliance, best practices and protocols.

I was the contract/construction manager working on the renewal of water mains in North and west London. This involved controlling the budget, planning, sub-contractors and instillation of new water mains for Three Valleys Water. I was working with Enterprise, Balfour Beatty and KNS.

I was working on the contract for the extension of the west of London congestion charge. My role is to set up a team and to manage then for all the enabling, planning and installation works necessary to fulfil our contract requirements.
