I am currently looking for a part time or freelance role in graphic design / motion graphics (2-3 days per week). I am relocating to London in September 2008 to commence a Diploma in Animation at London College of Communication. I have a degree in Design for Interactive Media and work experience in graphic design, motion graphics and event visuals. My most recent role was with Pennant PLC as a Multi-media Producer, creating content and assembling e-Learning lessons. Previous work experience includes graphic design for a Cardiff sign company creating promotional materials, product visuals and machine ready artwork and varied experience working on a freelance basis.

• Software – My role involves the use of the following applications: Photoshop, Flash and Pennant’s bespoke learning software.

• Design for print – Leaflets, business cards, logos and more, my main applications for print work are Illustrator, InDesign with past experience of QuarkXpress. Completed projects have ranged from a Annual Report for Grass Roots Youth project, to flyers for the Riverside Festival.
• Motion graphics – Creating of Flash animations, short music videos and graphics for event screens.
• Event visuals - This involves vision mixing at events, along with the preparation of content, creating animated logos, event promotion sequences, capturing and editing video footage and working with software based live effects packages..
• Business management - As a sole trader, running my own business, I have a working knowledge of organisation, keeping accurate records and the ability to set a work schedule, allowing me to meet deadlines and produce high quality work for clients.
• Customer relations – I value professionalism in all aspects of my working practice. My aim is to deliver the highest standard of service possible, resulting in clients developing confidence in my skills, ultimately giving them a good reason to keep coming back.
