CV

I worked for Willis, an international insurance and reinsurance broker, in a variety of business and IT roles for 27 years. As a result, I have hands-on experience of the business practices & procedures as well as IT requirements& solutions within both the London insurance market and the global reinsurance industry.

During the 1980's and 1990's I was actively involved in the development and implementation of many electronic trading and e-commerce initiatives in the insurance and reinsurance industry.

In September 2000 I decided to become a freelance business and IT consultant. Since then my clients have included:
Insurance/reinsurance brokers such as Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Benfield and Willis
Lloyd's underwriters - Kiln
Insurance industry standards bodies such as Wise and ACORD
IT vendors and business consultancies.

In addition to this I work with a number of health related charities and organisations. My contracts have usually overlapped and I prefer to have more than one assignment underway at any one time.
