I have been working in KPMG Forensic Infrastructure team for 21 months. Forensic Analyst
London• Responsible for providing costumers (UK, Europe, China and USA) and colleague access rights to the projects, file System on Active Directory based on the current infrastructure capabilities. Using Active Directory to assigns new groups, users, OU.
• Providing NTFS file permission for the different projects across domains
• Responsible for maintaining, creating and deleting users network accounts per Managers requests
• Managing users profile, providing users support on Active Directory (e.g. change passwords, assign additional projects, change privileges)
• Responsible for planning long and short term backup policies for client projects (e.g. weekly backup, data archiving process and documentation). This was using CommVault Backup 6.1.0 platform. Backup monitoring on different sites, check errors and read the log files, writing daily backup reports, troubleshoot the issues.
• Experience with the industry standard software such as Beyond and Compare, EnCase, VERITAS and Ghost
• Set up Media Encryption 128–bit Blowfish algorithm (backup Tapes only) by use of CommVault software.
• Integration and installation Windows Server 2003 (Primary and Secondary Domain Controllers) into the department core network infrastructure. I built farms with server 2003 on the DC and client machines for different projects and assigned them to the main network Configuring core network devices such as Cisco Switches 3750 and also upgrading IOS switches software
• Installation of VPN-1 Nokia Checkpoint on client machines. Providing RSA tokens, users support and token activation (including testing RSA tokens on Citrix or VPN, Checkpoint platforms). Responsible for granting access to the different applications for the RSA users on request from the Project managers.
• 3rd line Users Support.
• Responsible for troubleshooting hardware problems and escalating the calls to suppliers to replace faulty equipment. Providing support, installed and upgraded operating systems, and provided software to the users in our department.
• Experience with the industry standard libraries such as: Dell Libraries and Quantum PX500, troubleshooting.
• Maintenance of Symantec Anti Virus, usage of Symantec Console, quarantine check. Responsible for the daily update on different networks with the latest Virus File Definitions, form Symantec site.
• Extensive usage of System Monitoring tools 24/7 (System Health Check, Memory usage, CPU usage) and writing daily reports (for over 30 Servers).
• Provide daily reports based on environmental system and Network check for all sites and daily checks of Local Domain, reading Log Files.
• Ordered RSA tokens from the US when requested, kept track and prepared monthly RSA token reports. Prepared monthly reports of backup tapes and RSA tokens usage for the project managers in order to charge the clients.
• Introductory knowledge of SQL server support.
• Set up IronKey USB (128-bit AES password encryption, hardware-based encryption, mange master key) wrote a proposal for it and set up users polices. Responsible for managing Admin users console and provide users training.
