I am graduate designer and illustrator I have undertaken illustration commissions from government agencies and private individuals, producing leaflets and brochures, my most recent work has been producing promotional posters and flyers for Devon County Library service.I have run workshops and classes in a variety of art forms for both adults and children. I undertook a botanical illustration course recently although most of my previous work has included illustrations of plants and animals. I worked for several years in arts administration initially in theatres and then in management of an arts centre. I am currently working part time for Devon County Council in the Library service while helping my husband to run his small tourist attraction. I also design and make jewellery and undertake freelance design work. I have designed and built my own website and am able to use Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and Dreamweaver

Barnstaple LibraryPart time work as a general assistant in the Barnstaple Library. Special responsibility for maintaining a list of book awards and for adding events to the library website. I am often called on to use my design skills in this role to produce posters and leaflets promoting events in the library.
