SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Marketing Planning and Development for Prestige Brands: Planned marketing strategy and communications for a range of B2C and B2B clients, including brand building, identifying business opportunities and setting marketing objectives. Monthly, quarterly and annual marketing communication plans prepared, presented, implemented and evaluated.

New Product Launches: Worked with business areas to develop marketing campaigns to assist dealers and home builders in launching new models. Included launching city centre, waterfront and rural developments, offering advice and support to the sales teams. Managed new car launches on a local, regional and national level, including BMW 5 Series, 7 Series and X3, providing launch kits including showroom POS, invitations, DM pieces, prospect data, event kits, press advertisements, online banners and radio scripts to the dealer network.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Managed integrated campaigns, including design, media planning and implementation of national, regional and local online and offline activity in a range of sectors, including automotive, retail, financial services, education and property.

Branding: Responsible for branding of new business areas and products, including BMW Corporate Sales, BMW Rental and MINI Rental. Included developing creative concepts while adhering to Corporate Identity guidelines. Monitored activity across retail networks, ensuring brand CI guidelines were met and advising retailers where necessary.

Business Planning for Growth: Built business areas in line with business plans and agreed objectives, including targeted new business activity and identifying additional revenue opportunities. Prepared and met turnover and profit forecasts across business areas.

Product Support Campaigns: Worked alongside marketing managers and directors on quarterly model support campaigns for BMW, MINI and Honda, from taking client briefs to the successful delivery of marketing materials across retail networks. Campaigns included direct marketing, advertising, showroom point of sale, online marketing, event materials and PR.

Aftersales Marketing Materials: Designed and delivered marketing materials to assist dealers in promoting service, bodyshop, parts and accessories to customers and prospects. Dealers were provided with direct marketing pieces, advertisements, showroom POS and website banners.

Incentive Programmes: Developed incentive programme for Contract Hire and Leasing Companies including a DM pack which contained information on the incentive, giveaways and scoring mechanism. Increased sales to this growing market and built relationships with key contacts.

B2B Launches: Planned and delivered successful launch campaign for BMW Corporate Sales. This integrated campaign involved developing a creative concept to run throughout all activity, which included national advertising, data planning and acquisition, database management, direct marketing, website design and online advertising.

Team Management: Responsible for managing teams, from small teams of three up to larger teams of eighteen people. Included development of individuals, identifying training needs and holding appraisals.

Peugeot 206 Launch: Planned and managed the launch activity, including an offsite ride and drive event for customers and prospects. Prepared a launch plan, liaising with the event support agency, producing invitations, mailing, organising the event and preparing follow-up materials.

Database Management and Lead Generation: Managed a range of activities in a variety of sectors, resulting in clean databases and a plan of activity for sales and marketing teams to assist them in generating leads.
