Certified Oracle Developer: Aug 00 - present:

Oracle programming and development using Oracle 10g database (PL/SQL,SQL+,SQL, SQL Loader), Oracle Forms 10g (+4.5/6i) and Oracle Reports 10g (+2.5/6i). The Oracle application used provides the functionality for the plant production recipe control, material/data tracking and accountancy requirements. The main job functions are to provide Oracle (Forms/Reports and pl/sql) design solutions and implementations for problems with existing functionality and enhancements, and also the production of Oracle Reports for QC and Accountancy departments. Additional responsibilities include Application support. I am presently leading an upgrade of Oracle Forms and Reports from version 6i (client/server) to 10g (Web based - 10g) Application Server, which includes the design, configuration and installation of 10g Application Server and Infrastructure along with Oracle Internet Directory and Active Directory Integration for Single Sign On. In addition to the Forms and Reports redesign I am enhancing the user interface using an html based web application incorporating HTML, Javascript and PL/SQL Server Pages. All modifications undertaken involve the Full Software Lifecycle, from initial customer requirements through to customer handover, including Technical Design Documentation and Testing.
