TYPICAL ACHIEVEMENTS
· Won new contract for manufactured products through project team management, tender document response and presentation, and strong negotiation. This delivered a £1.2m increase in turnover and a 12% net profit.
· Implemented a complete revision of operating procedures to realign working practices, legislative changes and process efficiencies. Trained all employees in these procedures and introduced refresher courses, combined with smarter induction programmes.
· Assessed impact of significant business growth through existing customer merger. Identified work-force structure and associated costs. Implemented re-structure, recruited vacancies and trained new and existing employees on process changes and working practice adjustments. Delivered changes on time and maintained 98% service standard through the change process and beyond.
· Identified CAPEX requirements to meet business demands through analysis of historic P&L results, combined with projected forecasts. Tendered the required £500k spend and presented the best option for board approval. Effectively demonstrated a 2-year spend verses recovery presentation and the projected 5-year profit and efficiency benefits c. £250k.
· Completed a legally required HACCP course due to changing legalisation in food manufacturing. Introduced the HACCP principles to the business and revised the recorded processes and control points. This process met all requirements under audit conditions provided by the EHO and prevented any possible future claim
· Tendered the supply of distribution valued at £1.5m to the market place. Interviewed and analysed the respondents, selected the preferred supplier based on price, service, audit results, and market research. Managed the integration of this supplier change.
