detailing Key Milestones, Cost Profiles, Cost to Serve, Targets, Forecast vs Accuracy allowing the Business to make pro active decisions.

Oct 2004 - April 005: United Utilities, Service Delivery, UID Seamless Team + Southern Framework AMP3

Position: Project Controls Manager

Responsible for the Project Controls in both cost and planning within a seamless team of UU, Galliford-Costain and Montgomery Watson Harza. Including the training of staff in the project controls function. Responsible for all reporting of costs, budgets and schedule. Value £40m.

Sept 2002 -Oct 2004: United Utilities, Asset Creation - WwTW Q Programme Team AMP 3

Position: Project Controller

Responsible for the monitoring and analysing of Montgomery Watson Harza (Engineering Service Provider) data to the value of £425m. Liaising and assisting Asset Creation & Asset Delivery Project Managers in relation to the monthly update including : Accruals, Profiling of future spends, Milestone Monitoring, Output monitoring, Baseline changes, monitoring and reporting on actual performance against forecasts after cut off. Attend the Monthly Cappex Review meeting with Programme Manager and report on variances to the programme. Maintain effective interfaces between Asset Creation, Asset Delivery and Montgomery Watson Harza (ESP). Coaching of Project Managers in relation to SAP and Investment Management System. Provide monthly variance reports to Project Management and Programme Management to ensure that the programme is delivering.

Nov 2000 - Sept 2002: B.N.F.L. - Engineering - Project Services Group

Position: Project Cost Engineer

Responsible for the monitoring of costs and P&E on the SDP Project to the value of £401m, including the monitoring of discipline costs and jobhours on a monthly basis. Producing monthly Anticipated Final Costs (AFCs) for the project, including expenditure analysis. Providing cost reports to Senior Project Managers on a monthly basis. Monitoring Earned Value and KPIs on the project on a monthly basis. Allocation of funds to purchase requisitions, checking whether provision is available. Update of monthly commitment sheets for each Supplier.

Monitoring of purchase packages in relation to contract value, estimated contract value and commitment. Updating of Supply Management database. Expenditure profile for P+E. Actual vs. expenditure analysis.

Introduced to BNFL (and managed) a Project Variation procedure (Trend) to enable the Company to monitor and control change effectively. Monitoring of Company milestones on a monthly basis.

Other project controls duties in regard to the updating of the Project Performance Summary Report, Pathfinder, Single Line Reports, Earned Value, PERTMOS updates. (All BNFL Executive Monthly Reports). General SAP work including PR's, Service Entry etc.

June 2000 - Nov 2000: Bechtel Telecommunications - German Network Design Project, Essen.

Position: Project Cost Engineer

Based in Essen, Germany closing out Sub Contractor costs and contracts.

February 1999 - June 2000 Bechtel Telecommunications - Circe 1 & 2: Cost

Position: Project Cost Engineer

Responsible for the monthly cost updating for Circe 1 & 2. Monitoring of purchase orders / contracts spend on the project offline and incorporate into Cost report. Lead trend reviews and trend reporting and submit trends to the Client. Produced Trend registers to the Country teams and monitor Country team trends. Preparation bi-monthly the Project Financial Status Report for Executive Management in relation to Gross Margin, Cost and Revenue.

1999 Position: Project Cost Engineer on AMP2

Responsible for 50 live projects in Water North - Water Projects Group. Total Value £70M.

Responsible for the Monthly update and cost reporting of Water North Projects, using PMS system, ensuring deadlines were met. Produced Monthly Progress Reports incorporating Graphics. Monitoring all hours and costs charged to projects including construction contracts. Produced cashflows, maintained project files. Maintained successful monthly Cost Meeting with Client. Monitoring of CPI & SPI and Earned value.

Princes Trust Volunteers May 96 - August 96. This involved 12 weeks of intense exercise whilst working within the Community as a Prince's Trust Volunteer.

From my experiences as a Volunteer I became a Volunteer Group Leader for Prince's Trust ACTION, which involved me taking ten 18-25 year olds to Ayr, Scotland for a personal development course for one week.
