Currently a Core Maintenance Crew member working on the Shell North Sea, mature asset platform, Dunlin Alpha. Duties are to carry out preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance on high and low voltage equipment on the platform, varying widely, from lighting and small power to water injection and power generation.

· Development of permits to work with the ISSOW system.

· Use of S.A.P asset management software, for use with work orders and the ordering of materials.

· Co-ordinates activities with mechanical / instrument disciplines where necessary and includes isolating electrical equipment and signing of permits.

· Diagnose faults; carry out repairs to all platform equipment, and report major faults to management.

· Fire / Emergency response team member for the platform.

Duties included installation of platform upgrades, testing of, and alterations to platform equipment. Working between the Shearwater and Nelson platforms.
