Distribution & Logistics Planner/ Project Manager

▪ Managed and co-coordinated all technical and service aspects of a clinical trials distribution project. Managed initial discussions with clients and developed project specifications. Documented and formulated Project Structure. Managed all Project deliverables through to completion

Production & Logistics Planner

Using the Material Resource Planning system 'SAP' for planning of all Process Orders alongside the internal Novartis scheduling software (TESS), I was responsible for the planning of 6 Pharmaceutical Product Production and Packaging lines, two of which were 'Key Global Lines'. Also responsible for frequent reporting and presentation of production 'Key Performance Indicators' (KPI's) such as Customer Service Level (CSL), Inventory Level and Short and Long Term Capacity. In addition to presenting on these subjects I also obtained all the required information and provided analysis to assist prediction of future capacity issues. This enabled a proactive approach to long and short term planning and control. Also involved in other key projects, pertaining to the role, an example of which was that I was nominated as 'UK Novartis Lead' on the 'Global Lean Project' for one of the Novartis 'Key Products'.
