Duties include; implementing and updating the Council's Asbestos Strategy and Policy, maintenance and update of the Asbestos Register Database, identifying training needs of employees, responsible for periodic quality checks on surveyors carrying out asbestos surveys, project management of surveying, responsive air test analysis and asbestos removal/ remedial works, review and update of asbestos management systems.
