• To communicate with the client and discuss there needs
• To come up with a design that meets there needs and works.
• To produce technical drawings that the customer is happy with and that the contractor can work from.
• To agree a price for all works and ensure the works stay within the agreed price

Technical Surveyor

• To go into a customers house and confirm that they were happy with the kitchen design that had been produced by the designer
• To measure the kitchen and confirm that my measurements matched the ones of the designer
• To produce a cad drawing of the kitchen and show the customer a 3D drawing of there kitchen and what it would potentially look like with that kitchen installed
• To check all services in the house e.g. gas, water, electric etc and make sure they conform to regulations
• To annotate the cad drawing and produce work sheets for the kitchen fitters to inform them if any extra work had to be done e.g. new 30amp feed for cooker, new gas feed etc, how the best way to do it would be

• To Install electrical wiring systems in new and old buildings in accordance with the customers own specifications and in accordance with the IEE Wiring Regulations and all Health and Safety Regulations.
• To inspect and test all work to ensure it conforms to all regulations.
