Initially seconded to the Subsea and Flowline departments in Shell Tullos as a stand alone document controller dealing with drawings and document issuing and queries. Also gathering information from various sites. I then moved over to Seafield House where I am now responsible for the receipt and checking of multi discipline engineering drawings, reports, offshore surveys, material requisitions and various other documents which I then convert to a PDF format for security. I then populate the doc control system with the relevant details and on instruction distribute the documents and attach them into the cimage system,
I also deal with general engineering queries at a personal level and liaise with the various satellite offices
in Glasgow, Wallsend and Runcorn.
