Planner/Technical Assistant
Developed Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) implementation plans and developed progress tracking measures and tools to monitor completion of the planned activities. The planning system assisted in tasks being completed on schedule. Additional duties included:
▪ On a monthly basis, captured and incorporated progress into the individual System plans, discussed and challenged progress in order to maintain the overall quality of the plan
▪ Liaised with each of the 26 System Administrators on a monthly basis to gather requirements, solutions, drivers, key milestones, KPI's and constraints
▪ Prepared routine (monthly) OIMS progress reports for MNSL Management review at OIMS Steering Committee meetings
▪ Responsible for development and delivery of all planning deliverables and reports
▪ Liaised closely with SHE Manager to provide schedule baselines and updates for inclusion at OIMS Steering Committee meetings
▪ Provided updates to all Systems Administrators at monthly planning meeting
▪ Visited Beryl Field offshore platforms to liaise with OIM's to produce OIMS Site Implementation Plans
▪ Improved the OIMS Assessment follow-up database and worked with individual OIMS Administrators to update the database monthly
▪ Assisted the MNSL Senior OIMS Advisor to plan OIMS Assessments by arranging detailed interview schedules and logistics for assessment team movements
▪ Developed monthly newsletter to report and inform workforce of OIMS status
SHE Reporting Co-ordinator (Periodic Involvement)
▪ Provided service and support pertaining to Safety, Health and Environment reporting and data analysis (approx 800 incident reports per annum)
▪ Maintained records and databases in respect of the company's safety performance and internal SHE auditing program
▪ Collated, compiled and delivered SHE performance data on varying frequencies (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)
▪ On a continuing basis, as required by occurrences of incidents, received and processed information and classifications for SHE reporting
▪ Prepared necessary data and analysis to support periodic incident trend reviews by Management and field organisations. Produced relevant charts and graphs

Junior Planner
Positioned within the Northern Logistics/Planning department to co-ordinate and ensure the accuracy of logistical planning information. Ensured communication and the accuracy of information between the offshore department heads and onshore asset planners.
▪ Generated analytical information, which was derived from the planning of nine installations against actual statistics
▪ Initial task was to familiarise myself with the Shell Logistics Department and procedures, thereafter set up various spreadsheets and systems to capture the information and present to the various asset groups
▪ Maintained records and databases in respect of the company's safety performance and internal SHE auditing program
▪ On a weekly basis, collated nine installations' weekly passenger requirements then liaised with Shell Senior Scheduler to issue a weekly flying schedule
▪ In daily contact with the installations' to monitor changes against the planned flying schedule and if necessary, arranged additional aircraft to accommodate their needs
▪ Reports were also run daily from MAPS and Business Objects to capture and report against the weekly flying schedule
▪ Weekly, spend time with the Senior Scheduler at Shell Loggs to analyse reasons for the previous weeks unplanned flying
▪ Monitored 'no-flying' days for two of the nine installations, presented the statistics weekly to the OIM
▪ Assisted in collating information for the 2002 Budget, this required working closely with the individual Asset Planners to identify the POB movements and any additional forthcoming projects

Project Involvement:

Initially, I acted in an advisory capacity to the project management and to the external client. Advice was used to assist in establishing the database requirements and in development of the budget needed to carry out the project. I also liaised with and assisted, an external IT consultant in the modification of the database and responsible for managing the team that assisted you in populating the database. Effectively managed a small team to meet a deadline and not exceed the budget requirements.
