Duties included Liaison with Main Contractor, Erection Team, Controls and Commissioning Engineers and liaison with site based consultants to implement Tenants modifications. I completed all record drawings to finalise contract.

Major project 2:- 27-37, Wigmore Street, London. (Jan '86 - Aug '86)

Site based project involving taking over half-finished Mechanical Services installation from contractor in liquidation, and engineering to completion. The building consisted of a 10 storey office complex with Moduline V.A.V. System and part divided into 15 Luxury Residential Flats with self contained gas-fired Boiler/Radiator Central Heating installations. Duties included liaison with consultants on part-finished design work, plant selection and procurement and total involvement in every aspect of engineering services installations to completion and commissioning.

Aug 1986-Aug 1990 OSCAR FABER (St. Albans, Herts.)

Consultants Head Office based long term contract with involvement in all aspects of Building Services Design from concept and design layout through to production of fully co-ordinated mechanical/electrical/public health drawings. Responsibilities also included Site Surveys, liaison with Architects and Structural Engineers and Plant Manufacturers.

Aug 1990-July 1991 MATTHEW HALL (Great Dover Street, London.)

Employed as Senior Project Co-ordinator on a design and build project, 63-66, Prescot Street, for the Minet Insurance Group. Responsibilities included supervising CAD and manual draughtsmen, and implementing the production of C.A.D. ( G.D.S. and AutoCAD systems) and manually draughted co-ordinated working drawings produced from design schematics, liaison with the professional team (Architects/Structural Engineers/Interior Designers etc.) to resolve design problems, checking and approval of manufacturers' plant and ductwork drawings, Site Surveys and liaison with Erection Team, 'add and omit' billing of materials to account for contract variations and close working with Design Engineers to size plant piping and ductwork.

July 1991 - Oct 1991. F.H.P. (M.F. KENT DESIGN)

Windsor Hotel Refurbishment.

Employed working on the 'Windsor Hotel' refurbishment project site based in Marylebone, Central London. Responsibilities included developing co-ordinated drawings from a design by an American Consultant incorporating design modifications by F.H.P. (a British Consultant) to conform to British Standards and Practices. Detailed Site Surveys of the existing structure were required to produce co-ordinated working drawings. Principle areas of Service co-ordination were shafts, kitchens, laundries and plantrooms.

Oct 1991 - Jan 1992 ROSSER & RUSSELL

Refurbishment of Thames House.

Employed as senior co-ordinator on a site based 'Fastrack' contract using AutoCAD Release 11 and manual draughting, working on 'Thames House', a M.O.D. Building Refurbishment for the P.S.A. on Millbank, Central London. Responsibilities included supervision of a draughting team, site surveys of existing structure, liaison with sub-contractors, Architects & Consultants and composition of R.F.I.'s. Co-ordinated mechanical/electrical/public health drawings were produced in a 'phased' sequence with individual services areas being released 'For Construction' before overall completion of the drawing.

Jan 1992 - June 1992 K.R. PLOWRIGHT

Fitting out of No 1 Canada Square (Canary Wharf Tower Building)

Based on site at Canary Wharf employed working on 9 (16th-24th) floors of 1, Canada Square (Canary Wharf Tower) on a 'Fit-Out' contract for manufacturers Hanover Trust. Another 'Fastrack' project, it was necessary to produce co-ordinated services drawings on AutoCAD (release 11) to very precise specifications for immediate review by consultants Skidmore Owings and Merrill. On approval of the drawings installation work began immediately. It was necessary to co-ordinate 'Fit-Out' services with existing 'Base Building' services in Plantrooms, Computer Suites, Kitchens and large office areas. To complete this project, I produced all record drawings with site surveys as necessary to account for contractors installation variations.

July 1992 - Oct 1992 OSCAR FABER CONSULTING ENGINEERS.

Refurbishment of the Jewel House H.M. Tower of London.

Employed working on the new Jewel House project at H.M. Tower of London. Responsibilities included surveys of the Royal Armouries accommodation in the Waterloo Barracks attic to establish space available for the accommodation of extensive air handling plant and associated ducts and pipework to service the renovated Crown Jewel display areas. On this Project I worked very closely with the Design Team to co-ordinate mechanical, electrical and Public Health elements of the design with particular attention to the Structural Engineer's requirements to avoid unnecessarily undermining the antiquated structure. In the Plant areas the positioning of all equipment and all Piped/Ducted/Electrical Service co-ordination were my sole responsibility. A full range of co-ordinated services drawings were produced using AutoCAD release 11.

Oct 1992 - Jan 1993 JOHN LELLIOT ENGINEERING SERVICES

Refurbishment of Binfield Manor, Berkshire for the Sultan of Brunei.

Employed working on site to provide working and record drawings using AutoCAD release 12 for the new mechanical and electrical installations incorporated in the refurbishment of Binfield Manor for the Sultan of Brunei. It was necessary to inspect and survey the 'listed' existing antiquated structure to establish possible builderswork created routes for an extensive M & E Services Systems incorporating a DAIKIN VRV System with air cooled condensers and up to 30 refrigerant pipes distributing to fan coil units via 'Refnet' manifolds. It was also necessary to co-ordinate ducted supply and extract systems, heating pipework and water services/plumbing systems. Record drawings were produced for all services including underground cable ducting systems to comprehensive security installations around the 1.8 mile Estate perimeter.

Jan 1993 - May 1993 ROSSER & RUSSELL

Refurbishment of the Commercial Union Tower Building damaged by the 'St Mary Axe' I.R.A. bomb.

Employed as survey engineer and draughtsman, it was necessary to assess the condition of all mechanical, electrical and public health services throughout the building due to the pervasive effects of the bomb blast and, working in close conjunction with Oscar Faber Design consultants, prepare drawings integrating new services with what could be used of the existing. All of the floors were refurbished as office accommodation with completely new services installations, but many existing services were retained in plant areas and shafts.

June 1993 - June 1994 OSCAR FABER CONSULTING ENGINEERS.

A head office based contract employed as senior building services design co-ordinator utilising AutoCAD release 12 and Intergraph Microstation V.4 to produce design and co-ordinated building services drawings for a wide range of major industrial and commercial projects. I had full in-house training to enable use of the Microstation system. Scanning of hard-copy drawings was necessary for integration into CAD system.

June 1994 - July 1994 CUNDALL & JOHNSTONE.

Production of electrical services layouts and schematics using AutoCAD R.12.

July 1994 - Nov 1994 B.D.P. (Building Design Partnership)

First Phase of New No 1 Court for the All England Tennis and Croquet Club - Wimbledon.

Employed as Building Services CAD section leader working on the first design phase of the New No 1 Court at Wimbledon project utilising Intergraph Microstation V.5. Duties included liaison with Architectural, Structural and Interior Design teams to create services design concepts for the new stadium which incorporates carparking areas and a dedicated T.V. building.

Nov 1994 - AUKETT ASSOCIATES.

General building services draughting using AutoCAD Release 12 including plantroom layout for ASDA stores.

Dec 1994 - Jan 1995 OVE ARUP.

Employed as senior co-ordinator and checker supervising AutoCAD detailers working on the Berlin Olympic Swimming Pool Project and liasing with design engineers to finalise details. Main areas of co-ordination were shafts and plantrooms. Schedules of Equipment were created using MS Excel.

Jan 1995 - May 1995 B.D.P. (Building Design Partnership)

Second Phase of New No 1 Court for the All England Tennis and Croquet Club - Wimbledon.

A continuation of work started in summer 1994 on the New No 1 Court at Wimbledon project utilising Intergraph Microstation V.5. Employed as building services CAD co-ordination section leader, developing design concepts into fully co-ordinated layouts and working drawings. Duct and pipe sizing calculations were necessary to finalise design details for co-ordination. Section leader duties included the supervision of electrical/mechanical and public health CAD detailers to achieve 'working' fully co-ordinated services layouts with associated builderswork drawings. Underground services were arranged throughout the complex and across the adjacent golf course.

May 1995 - Aug 2002 GLAXOWELLCOME (Greenford)

Employed as senior CAD Technician in the Technical Support Group of Glaxowellcome's extensive site at Greenford, Middlesex.

The job requirement was to use varying releases of AutoCAD to create, edit and enhance drawings pertaining to the ongoing building/engineering development on the huge site that was being transformed from a pharmaceutical production facility to an office/administration facility for the globally merged Glaxowellcome organisation.

AutoCad releases 12/13/14/2000/2002 were utilised in conjunction with AutoManager Workflow to provide a document management/sharing solution with site engineering workgroups.

GTX RasterCAD was utilised to edit and enhance many scanned/digitised Glaxo pre-cad drawings and merge current vector images with the scanned raster images.

AutoFM was used for space planning and management/ asset tracking/ room and resource booking in conjunction with AutoCAD.

GlaxoWellcome provided off-site specialist training in the use of the above mentioned software packages, and I have attendance certificates in respect of the various courses.

A comprehensive set of CAD drawings was created from site surveying and from old hardcopy drawings to show the comprehensive array of underground mechanical and electrical services criss-crossing the site originating from pre-second world war to modern times.

Other duties included the surveying of unrecorded/ modified site facilities and the creation of record drawings, liaising with contractors seeking site information, and the checking of contractors record drawings to ensure conformity with GlaxoWellcome CAD standards.

Aug 2002 - present

Work outside of Building Services/ Site Engineering in the field of residential buildings/ garden maintenance and development, but still occasionally incorporating AutoCAD for landscape layout drawings.
