Technical Services Operator2004 - To Present

ˇ Responsible for the optimisation, operation and maintenance of an intergrated and complex 2 stage refrigeration plant, processing 40,000 tonnes of frozen fish products per annum and 50,000 tonnes of frozen peas in a seven week period. Operating systems including:

- Ammonia compressors, surge drums, freezing tunnels, condensers, vessels, soft water treatment systems, industrial steam raising boilers, air compressors, pumps and drive systems and natural gas safety monitoring equipment.

ˇ Carrying out TPM and 5's as well as various safety based tasks.

ˇ Completing risk assessments, issuing permits to work, condition monitoring/testing and isolation/evacuation procedures of the above systems.

ˇ Acting as incident controller when a hazard condition has been activated.

ˇ Working within company and industrial S.H.E procedures and reulations.

Process Line Technician1998 - 2004

ˇ Responsible for all aspects of the fish finger processing operation, including labour allocation, training matrices, health & safety, hygiene, quality, mechanical maintenance and achieving planned targets.

ˇ Processing 30,000 tonnes of fish fingers per annum and working to ISO9002/ISO14001 standards within a TPM environment.

ˇ Ensuring key performance indicators were achieved and new goals set by increasing quality and quantity standards.

ˇ Leading a production team in the manufacturing of baths, using TQ techniques to improve efficiencies, tool repair and machine maintenance and lubrication.
