Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Lead Field Engineer on site undertaking the, Installation, Service & Commissioning of electrical equipment including:

· 415V up to 11000V Switchboards and MCC's inc Protection & Circuit Breakers

Projects and Works completed to date:

Britannia Platform

Seconded to AREVA, and undertook HV switchgear modifications to the main MV switchboard, VCB testing and precommissioning checks to the modified feeder cubicle.

Maersk Oil and Gas: Gorm, Rolf, Tyra E, Tyra W Platforms.

Visits to carry out PPM checks, wiring modifications, mechanical modifications and relay testing via secondary injection.

Forties Alpha Oil Platform

Complete installation of ABB switchboard and associated wiring modifications required

Thistle Oil Platform

Service and inspection to Brush VSI Switchboard. To provide updated maintenance procedures and instructions to personnel, on to the above and oil filled transformers.

Sennar/Assalya - The Sudan

Wire and installation of neutral earthing control/alarm unit. Running and wiring of all multicore cables on main 11kV switchboard. Testing of transformers. Carried out secondary injection testing of all protection relays.

Michelin Ireland

Installation and commissioning of a packaged substation comprising of a 6 panel 11kV Brush VMV switchboard, 11kV/415V Transformers and 415V switchboard

Michelin Dundee

Installation and commissioning of 11kV extension panel, transformer and 415V switchboard.

PPM checks to all switchgear throughout.

Harmsworth Quay Printing

Regular PPM checks. Retrofitting of new Merlin Gerin ACB's 12 off to replace old Ottermill OMA8 LV circuit breakers. Installation of various new transformers Dry Type.

Barclays Bank - Johnson Controls

Regular PPM checks to 11kV and 415V switchboards and associated transformers and capacitors. Installation of new 30VdC and 110VdC batteries and chargers. Involved within replacement of all generator protection relays and additional changes to existing interlocking scheme.

60 Victoria Embankment - AMEC

Regular PPM checks including 11kV, 415V circuit breakers and associated transformers protection etc.

125 London Wall J.P. Morgan - AMEC

Regular PPM checks including 11kV, 415V circuit breakers and associated transformers protection etc. Took over to complete and rectify design flaws of new temperature controller for 2 off 11kV transformers, including wiring and testing of unit

Commission four off 11000/415V containerised substations
