General Engineer, Ovens For Industry Ltd; Ashburton 2005-2007

Ovens for Industry are a New Zealand based exporter of agricultural machinery to Asia. Primary tasks here included a sequential disassembly of the machinery and identify means of easiest reassembly in Asia. I was an after hours engineer and procedural problem solver on a contract basis in charge of over seeing and employing systems to maximize efficiency.

I was a fitter/welder in charge of general fabrication for the firm, including contract work for Medifab Ltd (medical fabricators). Other tasks included quality control, purchasing, customer service, invoicing and workshop management.
