POSITION: PROJECT ENGINEER.

DUTIES:

ˇ Review of briefs to know the project requirements.

ˇ Manage both subcontractor and others project teams on site.

ˇ Liaison with client and stakeholders on project matters.

ˇ Attend regular planning meetings with the Asset Manager (Client's Reprentative.) to discuss the contents and requirements of the briefs.

ˇ Write and submit scope report to the client for approval based on the site meeting

ˇ Prepared specific Health, Safety and environmental Method Statements and Risk Assessment for work to be carried out.

ˇ Prepare specific site files and Job pack for the work to be carried out.

ˇ Involvement in the development of Project Execution Plans, ensuring that resources, project schedule and contract strategies are appropriate for the project.

ˇ Receive and review daily site report from the Site person in charge for progress monitoring.

ˇ Attend site regularly to review variation from the agreed scope, resolve technical queries on site, safety issues and raise compensation event in line with the contract requirements.

ˇ Position and level survey of the steel columns from first level to the last and relating the coordinates with the theoretical values as specified on the job information using EDM

ˇ Setting out and carrying out a position survey of edge trim for the slab level

ˇ Determining splice heights of the different steel columns and stratums and relating the same with the drawing specification.

ˇ Setting out the position and level of different stair cases in the building from level one to ten.

ˇ Writing documentary survey reports.

NAME: HAYS CONSTRUCTION (FOR COFFEY CONSTRUCTION LTD)

DATE: August to Sept. 2005

POSTION: ENGINEER

DUTIES:

ˇ Setting out of level positions of the raft foundation, starter bars for columns using EDM.

ˇ Setting out the position of pile foundation, pile cap and ground beams with EDM, sorting out the discrepancies in drawings and implementing variations.

ˇ Checking reinforcements before concrete cast for different part of structure ensure quality control and assurance.

ˇ General ground work for parking spaces, setting out of road side kerbs along the drive way and ensure that the drawing specifications are met.

ˇ Setting out of water pipes positions into the building and waste water out of the building according to the drawing specification.

ˇ The work also includes, Checking sub contractors work and ensuring the constructed part of structures are in accordance with the drawings and specification.

ˇ Setting out of ducts for the service pipes and checking discrepancies after construction. General coordination of the entire site.

Hays Construction (East London)(Kier construction Group, Frog Island, Creek Way)

Position: Site Engineer: June to aug. 2005

ˇ Setting out the positions and levels of the steel columns, blankets and as built survey with EDM and dumping level.

ˇ Setting out of pile positions, grid lines for the steel columns and the hold-down bolts with EDM. Writing and keeping daily site paper work.

ˇ Monitoring subcontractor's work and ensuring it conform to specifications and the method statements.

ˇ Checking reinforcements before concrete cast for different part of structure.

ˇ Setting out of grid lines for the block work and supply technical information to subcontractors especially those working on the pre-cast concrete sections.

Hays Construction (London) (FOR SHEPHARD construction LIMITED).

Date: May to june 2005.

Position: Site Engineer.

ˇ The work includes sorting out discrepancies in drawings and implementing variations.

ˇ Setting out of pile positions, set grid lines for the steel columns and the hold-down bolts using EDM, write and keep daily site paper work.

ˇ Verify implementation of contractor's quality control system.

ˇ Carrying out survey work on the constructed steel blankets and the pins with EDM and implement variations.

COYLE'S PERSONNEL PLC (LONDON): (FOR SHEPHARD)

Position: SITE ENGINEER: March to APRIL 2005.

ˇ Organising work in accordance with the method statement.

ˇ Checking subcontractor work through surveying and making necessary adjustment to meet the architect specifications.

ˇ The work also include, sorting out discrepancies in drawing, the structural design and implementing variations.

ˇ Setting out of kerbs for parking spaces and the general groundwork for the cars drive way using EDM.

ˇ Writing and keeping daily progress reports on safety and quality issues.





O'NEILL & BRENNAN COMPANY LONDON (FOR SHEPHARD CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, Hammersmith hospital project.)

Position: Site ENGINEER: Feb. to March 2005

ˇ Review method statements and verifies their implementation, Ensure that the design specifications are correctly implemented.

ˇ Checking reinforcement arrangement before concrete cast for the different parts of the structure. Setting out grid lines and holding down bolts for the steel column erection.

ˇ Checking sub contractors work and ensuring the constructed part of structures are in accordance with the drawings and specification.

DANANN LIMITED.

Position: ASSISTANT DESIGN ENGINEER: January to Dec 2004

ˇ To assist in the delivery of a range of residential, commercial and highway projects from inception to completion.

ˇ Site inspection, preparation of project specifications, project management and preparation of contract documents.

ˇ Assist in structural engineering calculations in compliance with the code of practice BS8110 for concrete frame and steel structures.

ˇ My responsibilities also included taking responsibility for quality control and assurance on the project.
