• Working alongside engineers to produce drawings to BS 8888 for manufacture of machined components as well as 3D models to create aluminium "high pressure" die castings.

Powerwave UK Ltd (formally Filtronic Comtek) - Shipley 1997 - present

•Provide detailed drawings for manufacture to BS 8888. Working alongside PCB and filter engineers in the telecommunications industry. Generating highly complex 3D models to evaluate boundaries or highlight complications in order to accelerate development times and reduce cost.

•Understand and realise the engineers needs for initial development, leading on to eventual production quantities.

•Maintain and update company document databases including bills of material and document revision.

•Working with a design team to understand customer mechanical requirements and realistic timescales.

•Problem solving to create a product within the allowed constraints.

•Help and provide drawings to other engineering departments for the creation of jigs and fixtures to test the functionality and reliability of development and production units.
