Responsible for all contracts associated with their Client Tullow in the SNS, whose installations include: Hewett, Bacton, Schooner, Ketch and Horne & Wren. Previous activities have included the transition of ownership of the Schooner & Ketch facilities to Tullow, the newbuild of the Horne & Wren asset and support to the Offshore Cost Challenge, aimed at making the Hewett Field wholly unmanned.

ˇ Contract administration for vessel based works, including the purchase of a universal carousel system, rental of dry dock, j-lay systems and upgrade works on existing vessels. General duties involve drafting, tendering, negotiating, awarding and subsequently controlling contracts post-award.
ˇ Involvement in the pilot usage of electronic tendering through the epc-business website.

November 2002 Position: Transition Contracts Engineer
Working as a member of Sigma 3 (the Integrated Services Contractor for Shell (U.K.) Expro), responsible for the management and maintenance of subcontracts for Shell's offshore assets. Duties include the following responsibilities:
ˇ Executing the transition of all contracts associated with offshore work and onshore support for the Nelson Field.
ˇ Contract administration for contracts in connection with TENC (Tern Alpha, Eider Alpha & North Cormorant) and CADA (Cormorant Alpha & Dunlin Alpha)
ˇ SAP database maintenance, outline agreement inputs, raising call-offs etc and general reporting.

Working on the "Leadon Development Project" (FPSO), "Maclure Development Project" (tie-back), "Tullich Development Project" (tie-back) and the "Hutton Decommissioning Project". Duties include the following responsibilities:
ˇ Contract administration for Subsea Facilities EPIC Contracts, Subsea Controls, Construction, freight forwarding etc and various minor contracts, comprising drafting, tendering, negotiating, awarding and subsequently controlling contracts post-award.
ˇ Buyer responsibilities for procurement of major items of equipment i.e. grippers, xmas trees, swivel hoses and metering etc.
ˇ Claims advisor responsibilities comprising of identifying warranty or insurance claims, issuing notices to contractors, co-ordinating claims packages, liasing with insurers etc.
Oct 1999 to Oct 2000
Working within the Contracts Department, duties included the following responsibilities:
ˇ Contract administration for onshore service contracts comprising drafting, tendering, negotiating, awarding, and subsequently controlling contracts post-award. Oracle database maintenance, service order inputs and general reporting.
ˇ Post contract administration for IT service providers, including Oracle consultants, helpdesk facilitators, FPAL registration agreement etc.
ˇ Major tendering exercise executed in 2000 to reduce number of manpower agencies utilised by KMG and generate significant cost savings. Large scale tendering process involving pre-qualification round, tendering round and post tender clarification meetings of numerous tenderers to discuss processes, reductions and any cost saving ideas i.e. multiple invoicing. Achieved significant savings for KMG.

Position: Contracts Advisor
Initially employed by Mobil on a University work placement for a period of 3 months, after which I returned to University but continued to work at Mobil a minimum of 3 days per week until going full time again following graduation. Responsible for providing contractual support to the Beryl Success Plan and the contract operations group. Duties included the following responsibilities:
ˇ Contract administration for Personnel (agency and direct recruitment), IT Services (SAP provider, Licensing Agreements and web page set-up) and Camelot Decommissioning, comprising drafting, tendering, negotiating, awarding and subsequently controlling contracts post-award. Utilising the SAP system for costing information.
ˇ Major manpower exercise carried out to reduce number of agencies utilised for offshore Beryl support.
ˇ Preparation and compilation of monthly and weekly project progress reports.

Further Education: Attained a PG Cert in Construction Law and Arbitration with distinction at Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen and have obtained exemption form Level III exams for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Attained 2:1 BA Hons in Law and Administration, and a Diploma in Conveyancing and Executary Services at Robert Gordons University Aberdeen in 1999. Subjects covered include: Contract Law, Administrative Law and IT and the Law etc.
